The time to act and tackle the climate crisis is now. We’re not talking about being ahead of the curve anymore. It is an ethical imperative imposing itself on us.

We, at Hometown Talent, commit ourselves to lead our agency in a way that strives for greater sustainability and, at our level, to promote environmental consciouscnees in the music industry. The changes don’t have to be massive, but if each of us do his part, it will be a step in the right direction. It is why we wish to engage in green touring.

Cooperation by all parties is crucial in order to really create a meaningful change. We’re not here to teach a lesson or present ourselves as climate change experts. Each artist is free to participate in their own way and at their own level. We defend the idea of going green in a manner that is appropriate for each performer. As an agency, our goal is to share the facts and information in the most objective way possible and to provide our artists with the tools and keys necessary to apply these changes in the most efficient way while touring. This concerns many points such as fan engagement, band’s riders, accommodations, merchandising and mobility.

Green touring also means that even with just a few careful measures in many areas, touring can become more comfortable for musicians and make the live experience more positive for fans. It’s something that can be done step by step.
